Kena Pitts
Kena Pitts is an Organizational Change Management Consultant and Enterprise Risk Governance Analyst. She is an accomplished executive with 20 years of extensive cross functional experience in the banking and financial services industry in Risk Management & Compliance as well as Corporate Communications, Media and Public Relations.
Priorto its acquisition by PNC Bank, Pitts served as Vice President and Chief of Staff for BBVA USA's Compliance Advisory group. She also managed the Bank's New Digital Business and FinTech Compliance function as well as the BSA/AML program for Merchant Services and special high risk program customers.
Pitts developed the BSA/AML payment facilitator program to onboard third party payment processors and payment facilitators; established a first-line risk assessment process for FinTech ventures and merchant services; and designed and implemented high-risk treasury management customer risk assessments and tracking system.
In addition to her accomplishments in risk management, Pitts proudly served with a council of her peers to launch the Bank's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Black and African American Associate Business Resource Groups. As a passionate DE&I professional, Pitts dedicates significant time to speaking on and volunteering in matters of social justice, marginalized community financial literacy, and creating inclusive organizational culture.
Pitts earned her Bachelor's degree in Communication with a minor in Journalism. She also holds a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis incorporate social responsibility and a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management.
