Cláudia Fernandes Martins is a partner at MACEDO VITORINO since 2020. She is currently the coordinator of MACEDO VITORINO’s "MVCOMPLIANCE" project.  

Cláudia has over 15 years of experience providing legal assistance to national and foreign companies in matters related to commercial contracts and distribution; e-commerce and consumer law; competition and European law; copyright and intellectual property; privacy; data protection, and focused on several judicial proceeding in civil and commercial matters as litigation and arbitration.  

Cláudia has been awarded a Jacques Delors’ honorary with the paper “The New European Scheme of Services of General Economic Interest” (2009) and has been a Member of the Portuguese Bar Association (registration number 21210L) since 2005.  

She is a PhD candidate in law and a Guest Lecturer at the University of Lisbon Law School, teaching Economic Law and the Economic and Monetary Union subjects.

She is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish. She is currently the host and speaker of several national and international webinars related to Compliance and GDPR, with a master's course in European Competition Law and a CIPP/E - Certified Information Privacy Professional / Europe from IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals); having co-author papers published in distinct journals throughout her professional career, such as ECO, Jornal de Negócios, Diário de Notícias, among others.
