Professional road cycling has emerged from the dark days of widespread doping to be a sport that inspires people of all ages around the world. Positive values defeated the “win at any cost” mindset. Technology and rules (compliance) provided the framework. And this occured despite inadequate resources, in amulti-cultural environment and where the drive to win is off the charts.

What are the lessons for organisations? How do you create a values-based culture and build trust?  Getting the balance right between compliance processes and "just culture" is the key.
