New Challenges by the CS3D for Compliance and ESG Departments
Since 25 July 2025 the CS3D or CSDDD (European Directive on Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence) entered into force. The CS3D sets the most stringent due diligence requirements for companies on the protection of human rights and the environment worldwide. In line with other EU legislations, the CS3D will be also applicable for non-EU companies if they meet a certain turnover threshold within the Union Market. The master class will address those due diligence obligations and other challenges and provide solutions how to embed them into existing compliance management systems.
